My Story
Hi, I'm Ellen, a jewellery maker based in Broxburn, Scotland. I work in silver and gold, many of my designs are made using recycled scrap sterling silver. I make everything I sell using traditional handtools in my small workshop.
I love and live jewellery! I love that it can be symbolic whether gifted as a symbol of love or have personal meaning for an individual. I love adding subtle and meaningful personalisation to my jewellery pieces.
I love nature and going for walks and am often inspired by the plants, birds and trees I see on my walks. I strive to create wearable jewellery that will be loved and worn every day. I specialise in handmade wedding rings, silver cuff bracelets and personalised jewellery.
I started my Jewellery Adventure over 10 years ago when I attended a stone setting course at the precious metals workshop in Edinburgh. I was instantly hooked and practised hard making lots of mistakes on the way. I attended a night class and developed my skills through online training and lots of experimentation.
I love working with raw metal and turning it into something amazing and beautiful. I am passionate about the details and making something unique and precious.
I work from my home studio where I am frequently interrupted by my amazing family who are my inspiration and motivation.
I am a member of the Guild of Jewellery Designers and hold a hallmark with the Edinburgh Assay Office.
I have always been a maker but once I started making jewellery I couldn't stop!
Please do get in touch if you have any questions or if you are interested in a custom order.
Best Wishes
Ellen
